Emerald Turist Centre

Public building - Tourist Information Centre for Emerald and the Central Highlands.
The walls of this building were raised and rendered over 2 weeks by 35 workshop participants. The participants travelled from around Australia as well as America and South Korea.
The workshops were coordinated by Earth-n-Straw, with straw bale builder Lance Kairl. The clay from a local quarry now lines the internal walls. It was crushed in dust through a hammer mill at an abandoned abattoir.
