Flying Pig (Australian vernacular for A Dream Come True).
The house is styled on Italian houses from the owner's ancestral region. It is originally build as a bed and breakfast. The house has two guest suites, and owner's residence. Presently the house is not operating as a B&B but in private use.
Straw bale walls screens the house from the street. The house overlooks a spring-fed gully. Double glazed, well sealed windows.

Concrete raft slab. No insulation.
No floor insulation. Straw bale wale insulation R10. Ceiling R4 blow in cellulose fibre. Foilbacked polyester blanket under the roofing iron providing insulation and condensation barrier.
