The Concert Hall
The DR Koncerthuset was designed by the world-famous French architect Jean Nouvel. The Koncerthuset is rich in fine, highly visible details. Matte-grey concrete walls with joints and patterns that look like elephant skin.

The five stages of the Koncerthuset are very different in architecture, design and expression, but common to them all are world-class acoustics and recording equipment. Come and experience the magical atmosphere of the Concert Hall.

Guided tour of the Koncerthuset
Visit among other places the DR Concert Hall, built as an arena stage with seating for an audience of 1800 - in front of, around and behind the orchestra. The Concert Hall has become famous not only for its fantastic architecture, but also for its unique acoustics.

The architect Jean Nouvel has teamed up with the Japanese acoustician Yasuhisa Toyota.
At Level One there are three other halls: Studios 2, 3 and 4, which you will also visit on the tour.

Guided Tours in English for individuals are available in July and August, Tuesday and Thursday.
Tickets for individual visitors have to be purchased in advance.
