The yearly report from anti-corruption organization Transparency International, which surveys the level of corruption countries around the world, shows that Somalia is the most corrupt country on the planet.
Hard on the heels of Somalia are Afghanistan, Myanmar, the Sudan, and Iraq
The least corrupt countries are New Zealand, Denmark, and Singapore. The United States wind up in the 19th spot out of the 180 countries included in the survey.
The survey demonstrates a clear correlation of corruption and war. Countries ravaged by war are likewise haunted by corruption.
