Opposition: more sex education
08. feb. 2010 09.12 EnglishNearly 120.000 school students in grades six through ten can look forward to a week of focus on sex education as part of the yearly Week Sex campaign. The opposition wants more sex education in schools on a permanent basis.
Therefore, Socialdemokratiet, SF, Det Radikale Venstre and Enhedslisten are proposing a motion giving every grade a guiding number of sex education lessons.
- The proposal is intended to ensure that no youths leave lower secondary schools without basic knowledge of how to have a healthy and safe sex life, says Kirsten Brosbøl of Socialdemokratiet, chairman of the Parliamentary Cross-Party Network for Sexual Health.
