Chile: 28 Danes missing
01. mar. 2010 13.10 EnglishIt has now been 48 hours since an earthquake of historical magnitude struck Chile.
210 Danes were in Chile at the time of the quake, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has yet to make contact with 28 of them.
There is, however, no cause for concern, says Deputy Head of Office in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' centre for consular services, Inge Durant.
- We don't regard anybody as being in danger. We have a strong assumption that the lack of contact with the remaining Danes is due to the difficult communications situation, says Inge Durant.
