Reminder fees on parking tickets illegal

The fees are illegal, according to a Supreme Court verdict handed down today.
Before private parking companies can tack reminder fees onto their tickets, they must be certain that you have, in fact, received the original ticket. It it not enough that they have placed a ticket under your windshield wiper.
That is exactly how Uffe Tvede Hansen, whose case was decided by the Supreme Court today, got his parking ticket.
