Banking executives get pay hikes

Three executives from Danske Bank - a bank that has been haunted by deficits - have received an additional DKK 5 million for their efforts, writes Danish Confederation of Trade Unions newsletter A4.
In Danske Bank - Denmark's largest bank - the executives have scored something of a salary jackpot in 2009 when compared with 2008.
- It is a very good question why some boards of directors are upping executive salaries, says professor Ken Lamdahl Bechmann from the Copenhagen Business School.
