Young children dye their hair

That is extremely unfortunate, according to several experts contacted by Politiken consumer web site tjek.dk. Cosmetic products may have a hormone-disrupting effect on children, and may give them allergies for life.
Over the past couple of years, the Danish Asthma and Allergy Foundation has started receiving questions concerning make-up for children.
- We didn't get this type of questions ten years ago. Back then, children didn't have their hair dyed, and they didn't wear make-up. Apparently, that's changed, consultant Betina Hjort tells tjek.dk.
