Mothers want part-time jobs

11. mar. 2010 13.45 English

Women with young children want to work part time, and the labour market should accommodate that wish, say Danish companies ATP and Abakion. Both companies have implemented specific part time schemes - for highly educated women, too, writes daily newspaper Politiken.

- We have highly qualified female employees, and we would like to have more. Therefore, we have tried to achieve a realization of what they want, and being able to work part time is a general wish, says communications consultant Maja Bavngaard from consultancy firm Abakion.
