DR Metadata Standard
11. dec. 2006 09.54 The DR Metadata standard is defined as an internal DR Metadata standard for DRAMS (DR Asset Management Systems), relations to international standards for System-to-System (S2S), Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) exchange and a set of requirements and guidelines.
The DRAMS specifications are developed for managing material in both the production and archiving domain. The DRAMS specifications describe multimedia content such as productions, items (pieces of material), programs and articles with focus on core descriptive metadata.
The DR Metadata standard is based on a logical data model. The intention isn't necessarily to implement one physical DRAMS database in DR. DRAMS could be implemented as many independent databases based on the same concept but serving different purposes. An important aim is to make it possible to search data across different instances of DRAMS.
