A wonderful new puppet animation series for the 3-7 year-olds. Created by one of Scan-dinavia’s best puppet makers, it has spectacular scenography, cool music – and most importantly great stories that children can identify with, be fascinated and entertained by, and learn from.
The Royal Racket, a randomly thrown-together, yet fantastic family, are destined to travel the length and breadth of the kingdom and share whatever adventures await them.
The story takes place on board The Royal Racket, a rolling castle which King Billy from the Wild West won in a karaoke contest. Included in the price was Aristocratic Leo, part-lion, part-snob, part chef de cuisine. This somewhat bitter but very houseproud big cat comes from a family that has served the royal family for generations.
And ever since her spaceship crashed into the Royal Racket, Luna, a beautiful young creature from the faraway Moon, has also been staying here. Her fellow aliens keep ringing her up to ask when she is coming home, but she quite likes life on earth.
Princess Habibi, King Billy’s foundling child, was found on the petal of a golden tulip. No one knows where she comes from but according to Leo, she is definitely a real princess because she has braids as long and fine as those of Rapunzel.
And finally there is Beep; a tiresome, little mini-robot.
Old Leo has little patience with Beep, the young, irksome robot; King Billy, meanwhile, is in love with Luna, even though she doesn’t understand a word he says; whilst all the while, Habibi dreams of being a fairytale Princess!
All in all, a family who, despite individual differences and aspirations, grow even closer together into a loving, family unit as strange adventures carry them further and further out into a world of even stranger discovery ! ..............
