Even after becoming Princess, Alexandra worked hard and was kept busy with the countless official responsibilities that attend a Royal position. In Princess Alexandra−My Home is My Castle, she relates how she combines work and family life.

We follow the Princess together with Prince Nikolai, 4 years old, back to Hong Kong to see and hear about the culture from which the Princess comes. The charming Prince Nikolai hopes to find a playground in the big city.

Every summer the family took a vacation in the beautiful Cahors, at the Chateau Caix. The viewer sees the family enjoying its yearly vacation.

The viewer is also invited to Prince Nikolai’s 4th birthday together with his kindergarten class and Nikolai’ Grandmother, Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark. On this occasion the garden at Schackenborg castle is decorated with the Danish flag Dannebrog, and Nikolai receives a very special present from his Grandmother.
