With Robots in Mind

From Astroboy to Terminator, robots strike our imaginations - and kindle our darkest fears. We are the beginning of the 21st centur, the Age of the Robot is upon us. Bill Gates predicts that in our lifetime, robots will be as ubiquitous as cell phones.

With Robots in Mind follows world renowned robotic scientist Professor Henrik Hautop Lund of the Technical University of Copenhagen. He foresees that in the near future there will be robots in every home, every playground, every senior centre and in every battlefield. An expert in robotics and play, he will take us from Copenhagen, via Tokyo and on to Palo Alto, seeking out the most interesting new robots and their creators. Lund is hoping to find a partner who can inspire him and collaborate with him on his own invention: robotic music cubes that enable people to compose music without any knowledge of cords or notes.
