Through the year 2005, a crew from DR followed the work in Argiano, one of the oldest and finest wineries in Tuscany. Argiano is situated in the beautiful Montalcino and produces the famous Brunello di Montalcino.

Hans Vinding-Diers, winemaker at Argiano, guides the viewers through the seasons in the vineyards and into the oldest active cellar in Montalcino. The essential stages of the winemaking process are observed first hand-from the first pruning of the grapes in January to the end of the fermentation process in October.
