A colorful Robin Hood-like story for the entire family set in the 1650's. The powerful Swedish army is attacking Denmark and the Danish army is falling apart. The Danish king finds that he can put his trust in one man only: Svend the Bold. Svend the Bold lives in the woods with his unruly bunch of men and thus they become rebels for the king.
