Three women of about forty have kept in close contact since their schooldays. Now they all have successful careers. Claire is a lawyer, Helle is a designer and Sara is a psychologist – professionals through and through when it comes to their jobs. But things look a little different on the home front. All three women are struggling desperately to cope with their demanding lives. They are pulled at from all sides: By husbands, children and by work. But at least they have each other when things boil over. Yet what happens when Helle starts having an affair with Claire’s adult son, Jacob?
